Below is a list of some of my favorite vegan YouTubers, bloggers, and Podcasters.
Excitingly, there are too many incredible vegan content creators to choose from, so there will be more of these lists in the future, but for now, I’ve started with a lineup of twelve stand-outs in the food and wellness space.
In no particular order, here are a few sensational accounts that I find helpful. I hope you enjoy!☀️
Deliciously Ella – Ella Mills is hands down one of my biggest inspirations in terms of people who inspire my work and who’s WHY (intention) is in alignment with my own. Like me, Ella set out to help more people eat more plants. That’s it. No judgement, no rules, no looking down her nose at someone who isn’t 100% vegan…It’s not about that. She’s on a mission to make healthy food delicious and just as enjoyable as its processed counterparts.
Her career is also exceptionally inspiring. In addition to being a best selling cookbook author, an extremely popular blogger, Instagramer, YouTuber, and Podcaster, her line of healthy, wholesome snacks can now be found at many Starbucks and Waitrose Markets throughout the UK and are rumored to be hitting US shelves in the near future. Follow her if you’re looking for a back-to-basics approach to healthy vegan food.

Earthling Ed – Ed is an activist and arguably one of the most articulate speakers in the vegan space right now. His passion for animal equality is palpable, but his efforts to raise awareness about the exploitive animal agriculture industry are always delivered with gentle compassion and rational, hard-to-argue-with logic.
His ability to stay calm when confronted on college campuses, during protests, or when speaking in front of large crowds is a skill in and of itself, and it’s this unique style of communicating that, I think, makes Ed so effective.
I’ve included a link to one of his Instagram Highlights below. It’s called Vegetarian? and if you’ve ever been asked why vegans don’t eat eggs, or if you’ve wondered that yourself, skip to about half way through where it shows the egg-laying hens. I’m warning you, it’s difficult to watch, but it’s also incredibly eye-opening. My heart broke after seeing the discarded hens and my belief that veganism is the most humane way of living was immeasurably bolstered after watching this footage.
For this, and many other reasons, Ed is a valuable resource and could be really helpful to any of you who are having a difficult time explaining your choice to go vegan to others.

Hot for Food – The vegan comfort food Queen! Lauren Toyota’s channel, blog, and cookbook are all packed with decadent plant-based recipes which, in my experience, are loved by vegans and non-vegans alike! Decadent, indulgent, and “this is vegan???” good…you’re going to love her no-nonsense outlook and professional approach to whipping up comfort food.

The Edgy Veg – I’m lucky enough to call this INSANELY talented lady my friend! But I was a fan of hers long before we met because her recipes are absolutely drool-worthy. She makes the notion of creating restaurant quality meals at home seem completely doable, and her creativity never ceases to amaze me. Plus she’s hilarious, and frank, and completely herself on and off camera, which is perhaps what I love most about Candice. Check out her videos and cookbook below!

Mic the Vegan – Mic and I have been on several panels together at VegFest and I’ve witnessed first hand how incredible his ability to recall complex research regarding plant-based nutrition, environmental science, and animal welfare is, even on the spot. One would think he has a catalog of all of this information neatly stored in easy to access compartments in his brain, ready and waiting to be used for whatever questions arise about veganism. Because of this, he is one of the most helpful vegan YouTubers I’ve come across!
Plus he’s very funny. Subscribe to his channel if you haven’t already. You won’t regret it!

Good Eatings – I think Swedish blogger Malin Nilsson from Good Eatings (a stunningly beautiful Blog and YouTube channel) is an actual ray of sunshine. Her cinematic videos illustrate her Scandinavian countryside lifestyle and cozy kitchen with movie-quality color grading and moody lighting. Her aesthetically pleasing recipes are refreshingly simple to make and they seem to truly celebrate all that a whole food plant-based diet can be.
Malin’s content is art in the truest sense of the word, and I always feel uplifted and excited about eating more plants after spending some time on her page!

Pick Up Limes – Sadia Badiei is extremely high up on my list of favorites. Her recipes are as wholesome and nourishing as they are aesthetically pleasing and colorful. And being that Sadia is a RD, she weaves a fair amount of plant-based nutrition information into her videos, which makes them all the more enjoyable.
Side note, if you’re someone who appreciates pretty plates, ceramic mugs, and interesting serving bowls, you might want to watch her videos just to see her stunning collection of beautiful pieces. In addition to gleaning a few new meal ideas from her blog, Sadia’s also inspired me to make those meals look beautiful, and take a little more time with presentation. It can really make all the difference!

Sweet Simple Vegan – My friends Jasmine and Chris are the creative geniuses behind the blog and YouTube channel Sweet Simple Vegan. Both are amazing recipe creators, photographers, and food stylists and their work is something that not only heavily inspires my own, but it also makes me VERY hungry! Their recipes are healthy versions of decadent treats and their food photography alone will have you motivated to get into the kitchen to whip up something delicious!

Sweet Potato Soul – In need of some epic vegan soul food? Jenne from Sweet Potato Soul is the QUEEN of transforming classic soul food recipes into healthy but decadent vegan creations. She has a Youtube channel, blog, cookbook, and Instagram account brimming with some of the best vegan recipes you’ll come across.

Venetia Falconer – Climate activist, sustainability advocate, and creator of the Podcast Talking Tastebuds. Venetia makes eating a simple whole food plant-based diet seem EASY and her ability to breakdown complex issues and present them in a digestible and appealing way is a true talent. She’s funny and motivating, and her passion for changing this world for the better is contagious. I especially love her What I Ate Today videos!

Dr. G – I first met Dr. Christian Gonzalez when we interviewed him about gut health on The Vegan View. At the time, it was the longest episode we’d ever recorded because he is like an encyclopedia of interesting nutrition information.
Specializing in oncology, Dr. G (as he’s known on Instagram) has created a helpful podcast discussing the hidden toxins in many of our GMO foods and common household cleaning products – even tampons!

It’s Liv B – Liv’s approach to veganism is perhaps the most practical I’ve seen. On The Vegan View we often say that if you were mostly eating burgers, tacos, and cupcakes before going vegan, you can’t expect to suddenly feel satisfied by drastically shifting to plain veggies once you go vegan. Swapping the animal products for vegan alternatives is key, especially in the beginning! So for anyone struggling with how to veganize some of their favorite traditional foods, I recommend Liv’s channel and cookbook because her dishes are delicious, budget-friendly, and really good!
