This One Minute Champagne Vinaigrette recipe is the easiest salad dressing for salads, subs and sandwiches!

I love a quick and easy recipe and this One Minute Champagne Vinaigrette is just that. There’s zero mixing involved, just put the ingredients in a jar and shake it up!

I usually gravitate towards creamy dressings like my Vegan Honey Mustard or Golden Tahini Sauce, but this tangy vinaigrette has become my go-to recently!

It’s made from just a few simple ingredients including olive oil, champagne vinegar, Dijon mustard, maple syrup and dried Italian herbs. It’s fresh and zesty and instantly livens up everything some a simple salad to a hearty sub sandwich!

….Side note: I grew up calling these “subs” but a lot of people say “grinder” or “hoagie.” What do you can sandwiches like this?

Either way, this vinaigrette dressing is great on a sandwich. It makes even a simple homemade sub taste like you picked it up at the best deli in town. Hope you enjoy!

Champagne Vinaigrette Ingredients

There’s just 6 ingredients in this homemade salad dressing:

  • Olive Oil – extra virgin is key here! Using a good quality olive oil makes a surprisingly big difference in the overall dressing.
  • Champagne Vinegar – a GREAT vinegar for dressings because it’s zippy and tart without being too intensely sour. I love its delicate, fresh flavor.
  • Dijon Mustard – a little goes a long way here and it doesn’t make the dressing taste like mustard. It’s there for depth of flavor and to emulsify the dressing into the perfect consistency.
  • Maple Syrup – a dash of maple helps to balance the vinegar without making this dressing taste sweet.
  • Dried Italian Herbs – a store-bought blend of dried herbs and garlic adds instant flavor!
  • Salt and Black Pepper – ties everything together and brings this vinaigrette to life.

Tips for Homemade Salad Dressing:

I call this my One Minute Vinaigrette because that’s all the time it takes to make your own salad dressing at home!

  • Good quality olive oil goes a long way! Opt for extra virgin for best results.
  • Same goes for vinegar – champagne vinegar is my preference for this dressing but fresh lemon juice is a good substitution if you’d like to turn this into a lemon vinaigrette.
  • Don’t skip the maple – if you’re tempted to skip the maple, don’t! Trust me, that little bit of sweetness adds some much needed balance and helps round out the zippy acidity of the vinegar.
  • Shake, shake, shake! it helps to count to 30 while shaking.

One Minute Champagne Vinaigrette Recipe

Start by gathering your ingredients and a small jar with a lid. Place everything inside the jar and cover tightly with the lid. Shake vigorously for a full 30-40 seconds and then enjoy!

This is an incredibly versatile salad dressing recipe so it would be great on all kinds of recipes like my Carrot, Lentil and Arugula Salad, this 15 Minute Pizza CousCous Salad, or on a veggie sandwich like this one.
